Above is what it looks like when I smack my head on the keyboard. Below is one artist's rendition.

Really tired this morning, I just wanna crawl back into bed and skip this day. This Wednesday. The one with all the students and the band practice. I love my students and my band practice. But today I would just like some sleep.
What do you think of this band name, and my first attempt at a basic logo? It's a country-girl-meets-rock-n-roll-boy duo.

There's so much going on right now with my career, but no payoff yet. It's really frustrating, not because I'm impatient or I don't get that these things do take time, but it's that I know the payoff is out there somewhere. I just don't know how much or when, though, and everyone I owe money to is also anxious to find out!
The biggest issue right now is deciding where to invest how much time and effort. It seems everyone wants a piece of me. This is a very, very good thing, and a problem I want to have. Sure beats the alternative. :) But all these different things could pay off in so many different ways.
AND I FORGOT TO MAKE MY COFFEE. No wonder I can't wake up this morning! And my oatmeal. I've been eating oatmeal in the mornings. I think it's making me fat, though.
Azucar. That's Spanish for "sugar." I need to go grocery shopping because that's what I'm using in my coffee instead of Apriva. (That's Genericish for Splenda.)

This was pretty much gonna happen like this, and I think they set it up on purpose. Either way, Leo McDermott will enjoy it.

The blog would take about half as much time if my computer could handle running Google Chrome and Photoshop simultaneously. Sadly, with a mere 512MB of RAM and 1.4GHz Pentium 4... I remember when specs like that were unheard of. It wasn't that long ago that I was mocked as a Star Trek nerd for predicting this was coming, and now this is the old garbage and everyone has a 447THz processor with six million TB RAM and it runs on jet fuel.

There was a time when it was important to me to have the best graphics cards and soundcards and all that shit so I could sit on my fat ass and play Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed with my little gay USB steering wheel and little gay brake and gas pedals on the floor and I could feel like a real badass. What a horrid, lame, pointless existence I led.

But it would be really nice to do some basic things at home again, such as listening to music and running more than one program at once. I don't need anything fancy, this monitor is fine, this keyboard is fine. The mouse sucks butt though, and that's a pain in the ass in Photoshop. You have to do a lot of detail work and trace around people and whatnot, and it really sucks when you're 95% done outlining this really tricky shape and then your mouse decides now is a good time to shit the bed and suddenly jerk to the right and click the button at random, ruining ten minutes of eye-bleeding detail work.
This looks like it would do the trick.

But I get by. I just want the old computer back, the one that wasn't working, because at least I could've harvested the components to make this one work better.

Speaking of Star Trek, Patrick Stewart turns 71 today. Any of my fellow Trekkie nerds out there know what episode this is from? My money's on Mike Tremoulet.
*sigh*

What I wouldn't give...
